Through a selection of images from Google Earth and StreetView, the film “Algures” makes a portrait of the present day. The survey featured more than 2,500 screenshots presented together with the “o que vejo” track, from the Gumiber project, at a frenetic but harmonious rhythm. As we digest the abundance of informations we lose sight of what's in front of us. The banal scenes that are daily repeated around the world come alive in this film when they are arranged in sequence. Attention calls for attention: we are everywhere, present nowhere. For a life that does not go unnoticed, you need eyes that not only see, but watch. Através de uma seleção de imagens do Google Earth e StreetView, o filme “Algures” faz um retrato dos dias atuais. Enquanto digerimos a abundância de estímulos, perde-se de vista o que está a nossa frente. Essa negligência com o agora nos acostuma ao raso e impede de ir fundo.
