Poem: WHEN WOMEN GATHER
When they gather, magic conspires and it is a human
experience
whether she dances, cooks, sings or gives us new life
when women gather, magic conspires.
When women gather they create, their lives and human
experiences lend themselves to become endless melodies and
choruses that we bellow till time immemorial.
When women gather we create a crescendo, we form a calling
and there becomes a duty to heed to this feminine activity and
learn.
When women gather it is for lifetimes.
When women gather their movements become rhythmic,
sensual, and healing
Their movements tell our story, our hips rotate like the shape of
our sun and the cycles of human emotion
Our bodies become free and occupied as vessels for whoever
wants to tell their story.
When women gather it is what God intended, it is what She
created
When women gather the Earth listens, the ground is shaken
and the drum echoes our connection to Spirit
When women gather; magic conspires.
When they gather they are nurtured, stories are remembered
and the community is reawakened.
When women gather humanity becomes a union of experience;
it was She who started life and with Her, we shall celebrate it.
When women gather I am born again because She has so
much to say;
