Wellness Drinks

My role was to create and send email newsletters to update customers about new product lines, stockists and markets. Wellness drinks make Kefir and sell online, via vegan markets and retail outlets. Their product is fermented on their farm in the UK countryside. As a start-up they were happy to experiment with stories, subject lines and branding. I moved away from commercial updates and instead focused on sustainable farming practices and growers' stories. We used a personal approach, highlighting tales from the farm. I took informal, family album style photos that educated consumers about the link between soil health and gut health. I went for a look that matched the small artisanal nature of the process and reflected the attention to ecological values. Sign-ups and open rates increased.
