Sim.ai (YC X25) — Product Film

Sim AI is an automation platform for building and running AI workflows. This video was produced to announce Sim V2, a major product update, alongside a $7 million raise and 60,000 users on the platform.

Announcing a product update in a crowded automation market is harder than it looks. The video needed to land the funding news, the user growth, and the new features all at once, without feeling like a promotional highlight reel.

We shot the founder directly on camera inside the company's own office, choosing the space intentionally to communicate that the brand is real and operational rather than staged. The video opens with a full-screen typographic hit before the founder speaks, establishing stakes immediately.

Motion graphics shift register as the content changes. An animated growth line composited into the live footage gives the traction moment a visual weight, while a split-screen sequence showing the template library breaks up the talking head format at exactly the right point. The pacing stays tight throughout, and the founder's delivery carries enough energy that the video holds without relying on heavy editing.
