Visual identity for Japanese food store

I was given the project of making the primary logo of the startup food store Miss Onigiri. I was given full freedom of creativity with making the logo but with one request: Making it refer to onigiri (a Japanese sushi-like snack) I completed this project in about a week back in 2020. In 2021 and 2022, the business has had many pop-up stores and small events around Amsterdam. In 2023, they announced that they had trademarked their logo and company name.
