I created this brand for Noor fashion atelier. It's a fashion brand that is inspired by the Arabic culture with global references.
Logotype
The typeface for the logo was inspired by the Didot style that is usually associated with modernity because of its high contrast and it's also a reference to fashion.
The differential is that the thin lines create volume and three-dimentionality. The detail at the end of the R also references the brand's main product.
Meaning
Noor, also known as Nor, Nour or Nur. It's an unisex Arabic name that means Light or the Divine Light, can also be used as a deminine name as Nura, Noor or Noura.
Inspired by the Arab lanterns, this symbol was created as a reference to the Light, the way it behaves inside these objects and how the light is projected outside.
