Last Mile Platform

I lead the backend team of the delivery wing at Fraazo. My work here includes mentoring junior engineers and converting business requirements to technical solutions. I built the entire delivery backend from scratch before other developers joined me on the team.

Designed and developed low latency (avg<20ms) APIs to be consumed by mobile and web clients

 Implemented CI/CD (Bitbucket pipelines for building docker images and pushing to docker hub and rolling deployment in K8S cluster)

 Created the staging and production environment (K8S cluster) for the product and managed it

 Architected the entire last mile (delivery) system from scratch which is handling ~1M requests per hour currently with avg latency of 19 ms and p95 at 49 ms. 

Implemented payout engine which calculates payout for riders on per ride basis along with many incentives and automatic payouts to riders

Instrumented the code and infra with APM client ( Datadog) with out-of-box as well as custom integrations.

Mentoring new joiners/interns/team on day to day basis

Took ownership of the product including architecture/release/testing

Coordinate with Product managers and report to CXOs

Handling a team of 11 developers including backend/frontend/app/testing
