⚽ Futspots – Football Match Finder App

I contributed as a Backend Developer for Futspots, a mobile application that helps users discover and join football matches around them — including mini soccer, futsal, and 11-a-side football.

The app allows users to:

Browse and search for nearby matches

Register new matches for others to join

Join existing matches with just a few taps

Securely complete payments for participation

My role was focused on backend development, building a reliable and scalable RESTful API with Laravel, and integrating a payment gateway to support seamless transactions.

Designed and implemented RESTful API endpoints for match discovery, user registration, and match participation

Integrated a secure payment gateway for player registration fees

Ensured authentication & authorization with JWT

Optimized database queries to improve app performance

Collaborated with frontend/mobile developers to deliver smooth user experience
