The Client

Swift Haul Movers is a concept brand I built to show what a local moving company’s website can look like: a licensed San Antonio mover handling residential, commercial and long-distance moves across Texas. It’s a demo, not a paying client, so the business name, reviews, contact details and license numbers are placeholders.

The Challenge

Hiring movers is stressful, and most people land on a moving site expecting to get overcharged. They want a price, proof the company is legit, and some reassurance that nobody will tack on fees on move day. Most moving sites hide all three behind a “call for a quote” button. This one had to show the rate, the licensing and what’s included before asking for anything.

What We Built Together

I built the site in Next.js and deployed it on Vercel, with Home, Services with pricing, and Contact. The quote form sits right in the hero: from ZIP, to ZIP, move date, home size and phone number, next to the hourly rate and the two promises people care about most (no stair fees, blanket wrap included). The review rating, USDOT and TXDMV numbers sit right under it.
A three-step section walks through move day (arrival, stack and strap, drop-off), so customers know what to expect before they book. Services are split into residential, commercial and statewide, and a ten-question FAQ covers cost, insurance, stairs, late crews, short-notice moves and payment. Every section answers an objection before the customer has to pick up the phone and ask.
