Introduction: SORUDO Landing page redesign

The aim of this task is to redesign the existing SORUDO landing page to make it more user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for conversions.

Strong points of the old page

Clearly stated value offered by Sorudo
Numbers adding trust factor right after the hero banner
Benefits and value of the courses explained
Clear call to action
Social proof with logos of well know brands

Opportunity for improvement

Lack of reviews, case studies and use of storytelling
Talking more about the pain points of the ideal clients archetypes
Highlighting the challenges or pain points on the landing page can help visitors quickly recognize the value of the solution. If we only discuss the solution, we're assuming that the visitor already has a deep understanding of their problem. This could lead to missing out on converting prospects who are just starting to realize their need or problem.
"Over X% of school students have experience [bullying / street aggression] and X% say they did not know how to properly react”
At Sorudo, we've helped over X number of student with [problem]
→ Add Case study: How Jordy (14 yo) dealt with [problem]
Here, the aim is to emotionally engage those who are responsible for children or are potential purchasers of the program.
Lack of lead magnets:
My experience as a sales executive and web designer has taught me that website traffic is crucial. However, a lack of conversion can be even more costly.
A lead magnet, allows us one more chance to obtain a lead's contact info by providing them with valuable information.
The other aspects to consider are related to aesthetic of the website.

Design Process

Sept 1: Understanding the landing page goal

This involves understanding
The message
The Offer / promise
The target audience
The landing page core message revolved around the keywords:
Save lives
Smart self-defense
First Aid
Experienced based
The offer and target audience was clear from the courses section

Value proposition:

We help you stay safe and be prepare for when it matters

Promise:

We prepare you to be ready to defend yourself and your loved ones
We teach in a way that is personalized, with you as our main focus.
We focus on thinking critically in dangerous situations and minimizing the use of force.

Step 2: Page structure

This step includes:
Decide how to communicate the value defined earlier
Determine the necessary page sections and elements
Write the copy

Step 3: Visual Design

Low fidelity prototype: Making wireframes
Section layouts
Picking colors and fonts
High fidelity prototype on Figma
