CoMotion is a student-led motion graphics conference at the Savannah College of Art and Design, bringing together industry professionals and Motion Media Design students.
In 2024, I co-directed the conference with Kyle Switzer, helping lead a team of 40 across design, animation, graphic design, experiential, web, and sound. Together, we oversaw 100+ deliverables across the conference.
For the initial pitch, we developed a visual identity inspired by the raw, organic systems found in nature. We intentionally stripped away color to create a black-and-white visual language that emphasized form, texture, and process.
My selected contributions include:
Co-directing and art directing the overall visual identity
Designing pitch frames and establishing the visual language for the sequence
Developing the CoMotion 2024 logo and typography
Contributing to motion design and finishing the final sequence
The project received recognition from Red Dot: Best of the Best, Communication Arts, IDA Design Awards, and Applied Arts, among others.

Logo
The logo was developed around the idea of process and craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from Roman lettering and type anatomy while maintaining the organic qualities of the broader identity.

Pitch Frames
These were some of the pitch frames I designed that really helped set the desired tone and world for the sequence, especially our observation chapter.
A selection of pitch deck frames showcasing examples of the brand identity.
