Both apps had tremendously different user bases that they catered to. Legacy C+ had a predominant user base location in India and Asian countries, whilst C+ pro - North America and Europe, its many users being C-suite level professionals, entrepreneurs, etc.

Spend power of C+ Pro users was also much higher compared to Legacy C+ user base.

Legacy C+ had a design which seemed much more quirky and featured a customisable theme. C+ Pro, however, had a sleek and expensive look.

Each user base was used to using the app for specific features, so we had to factor that in, but also prioritise which features to roll out in the unified app given time and resource constrains for the development phase.
