Designed and developed a virtual queue system capable of handling thousand of connections in few minutes distributed across multiple nodes.
Utilized Bandit for WebSocket handling, fine-tuning settings for optimal performance under extreme load.
Conducted extensive load tests using K6 to simulate real-world scenarios with tens of thousands of simultaneous users.
Identified and resolved bottlenecks in GenServer processes, database queries, and WebSocket connections.
Implemented PostgreSQL with high availability using PGBouncer
Optimized database schemas and queries to support high-frequency updates and concurrent read/write operations.
Leveraged ETS and Redis for high-speed data caching and distributed state management.
Set up Grafana dashboards to monitor metrics such as CPU usage, memory consumption, WebSocket connection counts, and system health.
Used Telemetry to instrument and monitor application behavior in real-time.
Implemented advanced bot mitigation strategies using behavior analysis, gateways, and real-time filtering modules.
Secured WebSocket connections against unauthorized access and ensured compliance with best practices for API security.
