Jevels Records Branding

"Jevels" is a record label I recently created to release myself and my friends' music. The name "Jevels" is a play on "jewels", with many of the initial logo designs referencing gem and diamond shapes. This was replaced with a simple nose ring-like piece of jewelry with a single falling drop underneath, and the logotype "ABC Camera Black" was manipulated to create a more direct representation of the brand via an alternative typographic logo. The label’s first release and my second album, Pastoral Stills From Every Age, debuted in April of this year and its cover art was created by photographing a found vintage glass paperweight and later adding layers of Adobe Photoshop’s generative AI.
