With 12 years of experience in songwriting and DIY music, a self-taught Bruneian musician named Amal Murni, also known as 'bluemoongirl' managed to push the envelope for the underground indie music scene with her '1996', 'jr.' and '27 years' tracks across international sound-waves covering Fresno, California to Cumbria, United Kingdom.
The multi-instrumentalist has released more than 20 tracks and was the co-founder of Kepala Seni, an online music journalism site where she has done interviews with local underground artists, opinion posts and research articles.
