Hole Lotta Dough - Custom E-Commerce Website

A custom e-commerce website and order-management system I designed and developed for Hole Lotta Dough (HLD), a Cape Town-based confectionery business specializing in Japanese crystal candy and other handcrafted treats.

I built the customer-facing website in Framer, creating a responsive, highly visual shopping experience across product pages, best sellers, brand storytelling, workshops, FAQs, custom orders and contact pages.

Behind the Framer front end, I developed a custom backend and admin portal to handle functionality beyond a standard brochure site. The system includes online order processing, custom-order submissions, payment workflows, order-status management, delivery-date management, customer information, email notifications and administrative order tracking.

Technically, the project combines Framer, custom JavaScript/React functionality, Vercel serverless infrastructure, Neon PostgreSQL, Resend transactional email and PayFast payment integration, alongside custom order diagnostics and validation. The project is also connected to GitHub with a production deployment workflow through Vercel.

HLD was my first large-scale custom e-commerce build and demonstrates my ability to work beyond visual web design into front-end development, backend architecture, database integration, payment systems, transactional email, debugging and custom business-management tools.
