We Become Orphans — Poem to Short Film

I turned one of my own poems into a cinematic short film.

Originally written years ago after a personal loss, it became an exploration of how poetry can be translated into moving images.

Each scene follows the emotional arc of the poem — memory, a fractured heart, a candle, an empty road, a single star. Every transition is timed to the shifting harmonies of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, allowing the visuals to breathe with the music rather than simply accompany it.
