Project Description As part of a visually stunning project for Microsoft, we created panoramic motion design content for the opening of the CELA conference. Spanning across five giant LED screens, this immersive visual experience aimed to subtly communicate the transformative impact of AI without explicitly mentioning it. The goal was to illustrate AI's role as an essential part of Microsoft's innovation toolkit through a whimsical and engaging visual narrative.
The Why
In a world increasingly shaped by AI, Microsoft sought to convey the profound, yet often unseen, influence of AI on global innovation and connectivity. The challenge was to communicate this impact without overt references, allowing the audience to intuitively grasp AI's significance as an integrated part of the broader technological landscape. By focusing on the journey from individual to global impact, the project sought to inspire and provoke thought about how AI-driven advancements are rippling across the world.
The How By avoiding direct mentions of AI, we used motion design to represent the abstract concepts of AI’s influence. Flowing visuals, interconnected elements, and evolving patterns conveyed the idea of AI as an invisible yet powerful force driving progress and connectivity. Leveraging the scale and grandeur of five giant LED screens, we crafted expansive motion design sequences that enveloped the audience in a seamless, multi-dimensional experience.
