UNITO is an innovative furniture system inspired by a digital concept: modular grids that you can endlessly rearrange, much like widgets on a screen. With the physical product designed for absolute flexibility and long-term expansion, the brand needed a digital storefront that mirrored this exact philosophy.
The Digital Execution
After we created UNITO’s brand identity, I took ownership of the web design and development. Our primary goal was to translate the product's physical modularity directly into the digital space, creating a cohesive and highly interactive user experience.
I began by establishing website design in Figma, ensuring the site's layout felt just as grid-like and flexible as the furniture itself. Once the design system was locked in, I moved into Framer for development.
To bridge the gap between a rich, visually engaging frontend and a robust e-commerce backend, we utilized shopyframe to seamlessly connect the Framer site with Shopify. I built out custom interactive components and integrated 3D visual assets, allowing users to quickly understand how the modular system works.
