The Problem
IAWO PLACES needed production-grade cloud infrastructure to support a travel and tourism platform with real-time features, user authentication, and the ability to scale globally. The existing setup was fragile and couldn't handle concurrent users reliably.
The Solution
I architected and deployed a full production infrastructure on Firebase and Google Cloud, with a React frontend optimized for performance and global reach.
How it works:
Firebase provides authentication (social login, email, phone), real-time database, and cloud storage
Google Cloud handles compute workloads, API gateway, and CDN distribution
React frontend connects to Firebase SDK for real-time data updates
Automated deployment pipeline pushes updates with zero downtime
Monitoring stack tracks performance, errors, and user activity in real time
