Studiqo is a full-stack study planning platform that brings weekly scheduling, focused study sessions, and progress tracking into one workflow. I built it with React, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.
The challenge
Students need to balance courses, approaching exams, and available study time. The goal was to turn those inputs into a practical weekly plan, then make it easy to follow the plan and review progress.
What I built
Adaptive weekly planning: a weighted scheduling approach using course difficulty, credit hours, and exam dates, with adjustments based on previous completion rates.
Authentication: JWT-based session management connecting the frontend to protected backend functionality.
Pomodoro and focus mode: a study timer with start, pause, resume, and reset controls, plus a dedicated focus experience.
Productivity analytics: course-level study time, completion statistics, and weekly target tracking.
Engineering approach
The React interface handles the student workflow, FastAPI organizes backend operations, and PostgreSQL stores application data. Keeping planning, authentication, and progress tracking in distinct parts of the application makes the system easier to maintain and extend.
Outcome
The project connects planning, execution, and reflection in a single application: create a weekly schedule, complete focused study sessions, and review activity through analytics. It demonstrates my ability to build connected frontend, backend, and database features around a clear user need.
Stack: React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, JWT.
