To automate the task related to the Initial registration on PhD Portal by candidate who want to seek admission in Panjab University, scrutiny and approval by department, issue of registration letter, synopsis, fee payments, Thesis submission/evaluation etc. This involves PU Teaching departments/Institutes, R&S Branch, General Branch, Fee Checking Branch, Thesis Section. 
Through this portal, the administration and the candidate can view all relevant information at one place. It aims to reduce the paperwork and process cases in timely and efficient manner along with facilitating both students and concerned officials.
