Kōra – Conversational AI Philosophy App

As an Independent Mobile App Developer and Product Designer, I collaborated with Bravo Studio to design and build Kōra, a cross-platform conversational AI philosophy app for iOS and Android that brings history’s greatest thinkers to life.

• Product Vision & Collaboration – Defined the app concept and user experience to make deep philosophical ideas engaging and accessible through real-time chat and voice.

• Architecture & Stack – Delivered a production-ready mobile solution using Bravo Studio for the front end, Xano for backend logic and database, and GPT-powered assistants for natural conversations and lifelike voice synthesis via Hume.

• Custom Features – Integrated voice chats with philosophers such as Socrates and Sun Tzu, added essay analysis by Socrates, and began rollout of daily Marcus Aurelius quotes delivered directly to users’ devices.

• Design & UX – Crafted an immersive, elegant interface and brand identity, combining no-code speed with custom web components for unique interactions.

• Deployment & QA – Managed end-to-end App Store and Google Play submissions, ensuring compliance and smooth cross-platform performance.

• Iteration & Growth – Continuously enhanced features post-launch based on user feedback and AI improvements to keep the experience fresh and engaging.
