Noor started as a personal project for the Instant x Contra hackathon, but it quickly became something more. I wanted to design an online candle store that didn’t just sell but actually felt like a brand people could fall in love with.

The name “Noor,” which means light in Arabic, inspired the entire direction. I built a brand identity around coziness and warmth

From the soft colors to the candle photos, I styled myself. It almost felt like I was building a real brand with a real customer base.

On the store side, I focused on features that make a big difference for both merchants and customers:

A hero section that grabs attention right away with subtle animations, a clear headline, and a discount button.

An “About Us” page that tells the brand story in a way that feels real and builds trust.

Clear calls-to-action, gentle urgency, and trust signals that make it easy for people to buy.

Customer reviews and testimonials that add credibility and make new buyers feel inspired.

This project was deeply personal and skill-strengthening for me, it challenged me to think about design, branding, and conversions all at once. Noor might be fictional, but it taught me how real brand experiences are built online.
