"Numerous of the world’s problems existed before COVID-19 but are now being exemplified by COVID-19 effects. It opens up a multitude of places needing leadership. One problem I have become aware of is that families struggle particularly hard during the holiday season, especially because of COVID-19. A leadership role I have been taking on is a lead volunteer for the Fulton County Salvation Army Toy Drive. This way, I can help provide toys for kids in my community for Christmas when they otherwise would not get anything. Fulton County Salvation Army’s Toy Drive has paired with schools and other County’s to ensure everyone is getting the help they need. My part in the Toy Drive is the type of leadership I can offer in my community. I intend to take an even more prominent role this year by reaching out to more schools with students in need."
