Visual Concept: The Economics of Argentina

Using Adobe After Effects and Photoshop, I've brought together a range of visual elements to create a rich tapestry of images that represent different aspects of Argentina's economic history.

In addition to the collage-style visuals, I chose a color palette of yellow, orange, and cyan to convey the energy and vibrancy of Argentina's economic growth, as well as the struggles that followed. These colors are used throughout the documentary to create a cohesive visual style that underscores the narrative of the film.

This documentary tells the compelling story of Argentina's economic rise and fall over the last century. Once one of the wealthiest countries in the world, Argentina's economic decline has been steep and ongoing, with significant political and social consequences. Through interviews with historians, economists, and local residents, we explore the key events, policies, and factors that led to Argentina's economic rise, including the country's abundance of natural resources, its strong agricultural industry, and its growing urban centers. We then trace the decline, examining the various challenges and missteps that have plagued Argentina's economy, from inflation and debt defaults to political instability and corruption. Along the way, we hear from those who have been most affected by Argentina's economic struggles, from factory workers and farmers to entrepreneurs and students. Through their stories, we gain a deeper understanding of the human impact of economic policies and decisions.
