The Brand Story
Antoine required a logo for his apparel brand called 'Nearthlings'. In fact, two versions of the logo were required- the long format, 'Nearthlings' and the short format, 'NE'.
French Connection
'Nearthlings - New Earthlings for a New Generation' is an apparel brand based in France.
The brand products are made from organic cotton.
Initial sketches for the logotype
Antoine did not have any particular mood-board for the logo, setting me free. However, he wanted 'something important'.
The work involved creating initial sketches and then several variations of the logo.
The answer
The finalized logo uses bold custom type.
The short version and the long version both include circular elements to create balance and offset the 'blockiness'.
Deliverables:
(1) High resolution files for online usage (RGB colour space) and print usage (CMYK colour space).
(2) Files in transparent and non-transparent backgrounds.
(3) Social media usage kit.
