To design a wallet connection screen that helps users link their digital wallets quickly and confidently, while balancing ease of use, flexibility, and security transparency.

UX Decisions

Prioritization & Guidance

Displayed recommended and recent wallets with badges to guide user decisions without overwhelming them.

“Recommended” reassures first-time users, while “Recent” accelerates repeat actions for returning users

Familiarity & Trust

Each wallet is listed with its icon and supported networks (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos). This increases recognition and reduces the cognitive effort of identifying the correct wallet.

Using official wallet names/icons reinforces trust in a security-sensitive context.

Accessibility & Flexibility

A “Don’t see yours? Add wallet” option ensures inclusivity for less common wallets, preventing drop-offs due to limited choices.

The vertical card list makes scanning effortless, especially on mobile.

Clarity on Legal & Security Context

A concise disclaimer at the bottom surfaces Terms of Service and Protocol Disclaimer.

This placement ensures compliance while not disrupting the primary flow.

Visual Design & Cognitive Ease

A clean, minimal layout with ample white space reduces anxiety in a high-trust task like wallet connection.

Soft gradient header subtly signals the start of a secure process, differentiating the modal from the app’s main interface.

Outcome

The wallet connection flow provides a guided yet flexible experience, reducing friction for both new and returning users. By combining clear hierarchy, familiar wallet branding, and contextual guidance, the design builds confidence and minimizes user hesitation during a critical first step.
