This project is inspired by the whirlwind of emotions that come with first love—the way it makes everything feel brighter, larger-than-life, and almost surreal. The design pulls from the bold vibrancy of Mexican culture, the playful attitude of pop art, and the imperfect charm of magazine cutouts. It’s about capturing that dreamy, rose-colored perspective, where even the smallest moments feel like something extraordinary.
Design Approach
The design combines surreal and playful elements to reflect the emotional highs of love. Soft pinks and pastels create a dreamy backdrop, while bold and quirky details add personality and fun, like a fishbowl and googly eyes. The heart-shaped typography anchors everything, evoking the idea of a handmade scrapbook or love letter. It’s intentionally imperfect, full of charm, and meant to reflect how messy yet beautiful love can be.
