The role involved defining user experiences, shaping core product functionality, and building systems that make capturing and preserving personal memories simple, accessible, and meaningful.

Legacy Building is a memory preservation platform that enables users to create and maintain personal journals containing text entries, photos, and voice recordings.

Designed around the idea that important moments can fade or become lost over time, the platform provides a dedicated space for documenting life experiences and milestones. Users can organize memories into multiple journals, access and download their content whenever needed, and even transform their digital collections into professionally compiled physical journal books.

One of the key additions was an improved export experience for journals.

When users export their journals as PDF documents, text memories remain visible as written content, while audio and video memories are represented through clean QR code cards inside the exported file. This allows rich media memories to remain part of the journal experience in a printable and shareable format without breaking the structure of the document.

The goal was to make exports feel practical and elegant while still preserving the emotional value of multimedia memories.

The second feature introduced was a Community section inside the platform.

This space was designed to keep users informed about upcoming updates, new features, and product news in a simple and welcoming way. It gives Legacy Building a more connected experience by allowing users to stay aware of what is coming next, while also offering access to the platform’s broader social/community presence.

The experience included upcoming feature cards and external community links, helping the app feel more alive and evolving over time.

The new features additions expanded Legacy Building beyond simple journaling by making memories easier to export, revisit, and stay connected with over time.

The Easy Export feature improved how multimedia memories are preserved in sharable formats, while the Community feature introduced a lightweight communication layer that keeps users engaged with the platform’s ongoing evolution.

Together, both additions supported the long-term product vision of making memory preservation more meaningful, accessible, and future-ready.
