Choosing a restaurant is now a straightforward task

SpiceRoute Mobile app is designed to facilitate fast food ordering and assists users in finding nearby restaurants

The problem revolved around the difficulty users faced in efficiently and effortlessly selecting a dining location and placing meal orders

The solution involved designing an intuitive user interface and streamlined user flow that allowed individuals to quickly and effortlessly choose a dining venue and order their meals

After conducting research, I recruited participants and gathered feedback from various sources, including a screener survey and my social media network, family, and friends. I collected 50 valuable responses, which provided insights into the challenges related to selecting a dining destination. The analysis of the results indicated that a considerable majority, around 70%, dine out at least once a week, with 30% of respondents eating out every other day.

Following the interview, I produced empathy maps to better understand the customers I'm designing for and their requirements, and my target audiences included both working-class and college students who don't have much time to cook.

In summary, the pain point indicate that customers want a solution that is rapid, efficient, and personalized to their specific needs and limits. They want a method for quickly locating eateries that meet their requirements without being overwhelmed or devoting too much time to the process.

Upon reviewing the empathy maps, I created two personas which helped me to better understand the users' experiences and delve deeper into the difficulties they may face when deciding where to dine and what to order. This process allowed me to express more empathy towards the users.

I quickly sketched out my ideas and provided brief descriptions for each one. The main focus of my brainstorming was to develop ways to help users in their decision-making process of where to eat, enhance search and filtering capabilities, and simplify the process of narrowing down options.

I utilized my sketches to produce mid-fidelity wireframes, specifically tailored to the screen size of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Throughout the design process, I remained mindful of the user persona and sought to provide solutions that catered to their unique requirements. By experimenting with various design elements, I was able to arrive at a design that effectively meets the needs of all users

the focus was on creating an appealing and user-friendly interface that enhances the overall user experience. The design aimed to utilize visually pleasing elements such as color schemes, typography, and layout to make it easier for users to navigate and interact with the platform.
