Their product pages looked complete in a browser — FAQs, reviews, pricing, all there. But when we pulled up what Googlebot actually saw in the rendered DOM, a chunk of that content simply didn't exist. A UI library was unmounting FAQ sections conditionally on the client side, so crawlers hit an empty shell. Layered on top: duplicate schema markup competing with a deprecated FAQ schema Google had stopped supporting months earlier, plus encoding corruption from the CMS that was quietly mangling meta descriptions and title tags across hundreds of SKUs.
