OBEO provides professional visual media for real estate and commercial properties, from photography and aerials to floor plans, virtual staging, 3D tours, and video.
The goal was to give the brand a much more modern web presence while making the sheer range of services easier to understand.
I redesigned the experience around the different types of media OBEO offers, with a strong visual focus throughout.
The Approach
The hero became one of the main pieces of the experience.
Instead of locking the headline to one service, it cycles through:
Photography
Digital Staging
Floor Plans
3D Tours
Aerial Photos
Cinematic Videos
This immediately communicates the breadth of what OBEO does without turning the hero into a long list of services.
From there, the site moves into the reasons to choose OBEO, services, industries served, nationwide coverage, and a clear path to placing an order.
What I Worked On
Homepage structure
Hero experience
Service presentation
Visual direction
Typography
Information hierarchy
Industry sections
Nationwide coverage section
Conversion-focused sections
Responsive layouts
The Design
The visual direction is intentionally dark and minimal, giving OBEO's photography and video room to stand out.
Large imagery, bold typography, subtle blue accents, and generous spacing keep the interface clean while giving the site a more premium feel.
For the services section, I used a visual grid rather than a traditional list. This makes the different offerings immediately scannable while letting the imagery do most of the selling.
The Result
The new experience gives OBEO a cleaner way to present a fairly broad service offering without making the website feel complicated.
The rotating hero introduces the different services immediately, while the rest of the site gradually gives visitors more context around what OBEO does, who they serve, where they operate, and how to get started.
