I worked at Vivid Seats as a UX designer and front-end developer for a product called SkyBox, a ticket resale platform for events. The end user is a broker purchasing tickets to resell in the secondary market, or an individual looking to make profit from a purchased ticket. My role as a designer was to take what was already implemented as a starting point (a template) and progressively redesign the app, allowing the design changes to be gradually accepted. This was a key challenge alongside the complexity of my role, as I was designing and developing at the same time. I collaborated closely with the PM when writing user stories. Users from SkyBox had a great reception to the changes I introduced and I could check that by watching user sessions, comparing task completion times in Google Analytics, and doing interviews.
