E-Commerce Development

Introduction:

The client, a small business owner, wanted to launch an eCommerce website to sell their products online. However, they were facing several challenges including a lack of technical expertise, limited resources, and a tight timeline. To help the client achieve their goal, I worked closely with him to develop a comprehensive eCommerce website (Laravel + PHP) that would meet their business needs.

Project Description:

In this project, I developed an e-commerce website that allows users to browse and purchase products online. The website has user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate and offers a secure payment gateway.

Following are the modules, which I worked on this project:

• User Management (Login/Registration/Email Verification/Password Reset)
• Product Catalog (The website features a catalog of products that can be filtered by category, price range, and other attributes. Each product has a description, images, and pricing information)
• Admin Panel (The admin is able to add products, categories. List orders view insights of sales etc.)
• Shopping Cart (Users will be able to add products to their shopping cart and proceed to checkout. The shopping cart will display the total cost of the order, including tax and shipping)
• Payment Gateway (The website is integrated with a secure payment gateway that supports various payment methods such as credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other online payment services)
• Order Confirmation (After placing an order, users receive an email confirmation with the details of their purchase)
• Order Tracking (Users are able to track the status of their order on the website, they also receive updates on the order status via email)
• SEO Optimization (The website will be optimized for search engines to improve its visibility and ranking on search engine results pages)

Project Outcome:

Overall, launching an eCommerce site was a success, as the newly launched website helped the client to increase online-sales, improve customer-experience, streamline-operations, brand-recognition and much more.
