I developed a cross-platform inventory application for Windows and macOS designed to streamline operations across multiple jewelry stores. The app handles sales, client management, staff hierarchy, and repair tracking. Key features include:
QR Code Integration: Each piece of jewelry gets a unique QR code, scannable via a mobile app for quick access to product information within the store.
Staff Access Control: Secure staff logins, with account creation managed by store owners and managers, ensuring a clear hierarchy with varying access levels.
Dynamic Pricing: Automatically calculates prices based on the weight and karat of gold, with an integrated search engine for quick filtering by category, type, or custom text.
Comprehensive Sales Features: Supports sales, returns, layaways, repairs, and records purchases from material providers.
Financial Reporting: Provides detailed sales and purchase reports, viewable by year, month, week, or day, to assist with accounting and financial planning.
Intuitive Design: The interface is designed for ease of use, with a layout reminiscent of a modern web application, offering a familiar and streamlined user experience.
