EmpowHERto Website Redesign

Jennylyn Villena

EmpowHERto is a women-led nonprofit that supports unsupported young women of colour, ages 14–17, through programs in leadership, mental wellness, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and mentorship. Their mission is to empower these young women to build confidence, develop critical skills, and overcome systemic barriers. Through this work, EmpowHERto helps create opportunities for them to thrive and drive meaningful change within their communities.
Redesigning a website is more than a visual update. It’s about creating a clean, modern space that reflects your brand and connects with your audience. I focus on improving usability, highlighting what matters most, and building a seamless experience that helps your brand stand out and grow.

A little snippet of my redesign of this website :)
I redesigned the website to align with the brand’s current goals and create a more polished, modern presence. The new design emphasizes clarity, smoother navigation, and a cohesive look across all devices. This approach builds a stronger connection with the audience while showcasing the brand in a fresh, engaging way.
This screenshot showcases the sitemap and wireframes I developed to guide the new website design. The goal was to create a clear, intuitive structure that encourages users to explore the site while easily finding the information they need about the company and its services. By refining the flow, I aimed to balance usability with engagement, ensuring visitors not only access key details but also feel motivated to learn more about what the company offers.
