Project Overview
Homefinder is a real estate app designed to simplify and improve the rental experience by removing agents and enabling direct, transparent communication between renters and landlords. The platform provides verified property listings, secure in-app messaging, and a formal move-out notification feature to support a more organized and trustworthy rental process.
Filter and View Screen
The app addresses common rental challenges such as fake listings, high agent fees, and poor communication. By offering verified listings only, eliminating agent fees, and allowing tenants to notify landlords of move-out plans within the app, Homefinder makes renting safer, more affordable, and more efficient.
Interior, Exterior and Map screens
User research conducted through a questionnaire revealed strong dissatisfaction with agent-led rentals, particularly due to misleading listings and extra fees. Key trust factors identified include verified photos and videos, clear pricing, direct landlord contact, and honest tenant reviews, validating Homefinder’s core features and value proposition.
