Follow the big blue and yellow arrows for three rights and two lefts. There it is, in the center of IKEA: a POÄNG armchair inside a glass cube, with a robotic arm tirelessly smashing it with a 110kg weight for 26,000 cycles.

An article sample from my collaboration with BigCompute, the storytelling arm behind the supercomputing giant Rescale.

Now imagine inside the glass box is an artificial aortic heart valve. Weights aren't what test the limits of its structure. The nickel-titanium device is subjected to the relentless beating of the ultimate stress test: the human heart.
