Non Profit XXX Mission
XXX enables cancer patients and their loved ones to strengthen, deepen and unify their relationships by creating unforgettable and lasting Respite Experiences.

Working with oncology professionals at over 100 hospitals and cancer centers, FPS provides transformative respite experiences to cancer patients (ages 21-55), their caregivers and their children and offers our families emotional support that assists them as their journey with cancer continues. Our respite program helps families recognize it is love, not cancer, that defines them.

Non Profit XXX Impact

Respite Changes Lives

Respite has proven therapeutic benefits affecting family, mental, spiritual, physical, psychosocial and financial health. These benefits impact the patient and the entire family unit, including the caregiver and children. Annually, hundreds of our Oncology Professionals report outcome data to measure improvement in patients and their family’s ability to cope with cancer. Surveyed both pre- and post-respite in the clinical setting, these Nominators report, on average, an increase in coping as follows:

45 % increase in patient's coping ability
50 % increase in caregiver's coping ability
52 % increase in child's coping ability
After
Audience: cancer patients and families, oncology professionals, donors and supports
Edited Points:
Clarified meaning: simplified complex phrasing to make the mission clearer.
Removed jargon: made phrasing accessible
Improved flow: shortened sentences for readability and impact.
Preserved tone: kept the nonprofit’s compassionate voice intact.
Defines “respite” through context instead of assuming familiarity
Leads with human impact, then supports it with data
Clarifies who reports the data and how it’s collected for researchers and donors, who want measurable outcomes
Choosing data
“Coping ability” is abstract, so choose information that has real meaning like burnout, fatigue, motivation to continue care, etc.
Choosing percent increases without baselines is hard for donors to understand real impact
Choose stats that aren’t just clinician reported, because family voices show stronger impact in a non profit setting
Choose a stat that has a timeline, for example, is this a short term impact or long lasting?
Non Profit XXX Mission
XXX provides short, restorative breaks for adult cancer patients and their loved ones, helping families reconnect, rest, and strengthen their relationships during treatment and beyond.
Partnering with oncology teams at more than 100 hospitals and cancer centers on the East Coast, XXX offers respite programs for patients, caregivers, and children that promote emotional support and resilience throughout the cancer journey. These experiences help families focus on connection, normalcy and love rather than disease.
Non Profit XXX Impact
Taking a short, restorative break from the demands of cancer care has measurable benefits for patients and their families. These benefits extend beyond emotional well-being, supporting mental, physical, spiritual, and financial health for the entire family — including caregivers and children.
Each year, oncology professionals working with XXX report outcome data measuring how families cope with cancer before and after one of our respite experiences. Based on clinical surveys completed pre- and post-respite, these professionals report average improvements in coping ability of:
