First I designed a static piece as a visual story sequence (u will see this in the next post), then I animated it by creating this audiovisual short film, both pieces based on the short film ‘Paperman’. For this, I created an abstract visual story identifying the differences between real time and perceptual time, I also delved into the concepts of time + time and history of tension, creating a visual journey through a new vocabulary designed to reinforce communication by interrelating photographic images, vector drawings, and manual techniques, thus also incorporating the use of typography for the short film.
