Many dreams and goals are not finished and achieved for many reasons. One big culprit is because lack of motivation. It is hard to stay motivated when you are not seeing any result that you want even if you put in all your efforts.
Have you tried to gain your motivation back by watching youtube channels about motivations and motivational speakers? Well, I have done that too. But this type of motivation is an external motivation. It means it’s from outside of yourself. What will happen if you stop listening to those? Will it crush your motivation? Where are going to get the motivation to keep going?
Look I am not trying to say that it cannot help you. It can! But for a short time only.
In this blog, I am going to share with you things that can motivate you internally and you will not likely struggle again to find motivations and go back to listening to a motivational video.

1. Clarity

Have a clear goal. Many people say that they want to lose weight. But they are not clear how many pounds they want to lose. Or some people want to start a business but what kind of business do they want to start?
Having about your goal is a good way to lead to it. Let’s say you want to start a cosmetic business, or you want to have a slim body in this proportion. Be as specific as possible.
Think of your goal or dream as a target in archery or darts. The whole target is about business for example. And all those parts in it have different types of business: food business, clothing business, health care business, delivery business and many more. Choose a specific part or location where you want your darts or arrow to land and that is where you are going to focus your attention and effort
.
Being clear about your goal is also about how many months or years of your time you want to offer to achieve that goal. Or to put it in simple words how long would it take for you to achieve that goal
In my first year of blogging my goals are to have 5k Pinterest followers, and 3k followers on Instagram though I still don’t create one, I’m taking my time. I’m also aiming to have a brand collab with other bloggers at least one time, have a 100 email list, be part of 5 affiliate programs, and lastly have at least 50 published blog posts on my website
You can help me achieve those by following me on my accounts and commenting on how am i going to still improve and commenting if this blog helps you. You can also share this with your friends it would help a lot.
Type your email…

2. Make a Goal Plan

It doesn’t matter if you write it on paper or your device. The important thing is you create a plan on how are you going to achieve your goal in that set period.
List down all of the things that you are going to do to achieve it. If you want to have more followers on your social media and you want to become an influencer.
You can list down the things that you are going to do, like posting regularly, watching youtube videos on how to grow your followers on your social media account, or you might want to pay for a course on how to become an influencer.
List the sacrifices also that you are going to make to become an influencer. It can be sleepless nights because you trying to figure out how to achieve your dreams of becoming an influencer, sacrificing the time that you can’t spend with your families or friends when you are trying to shoot videos and edit is to post for your followers.
You can also make a calendar or schedule to be productive of your time. You have the day or time of the day where you are going to come up with a post idea. You also have the day or time of the day to edit your videos and post them.
Don’t just schedule your time for achieving your goal, schedule your rest time as well. If you didn’t you will become burnout from all the work that you need to do. Take a break from time to time.
In my case, to have 50 blog posts or more, I have to post 2 blogs in a week. Each time I publish a blog I put the other day as my rest day.
One of the things that kill the motivation of other people’s goals and dreams is because they are overwhelmed with the things that they have to do. They don’t have proper time management.
Again let’s go back to being an influencer. Let’s say that our aspiring influencer is still a student. Our future influencers should know how to balance their life as an influencer and a student. If you have bad grades and can’t keep up with the class it can affect your life as an influencer it might break your momentum in posting something on your social media because
your mind in the F on your card and can’t get over it.

3. Break down your goals into Small Goals

Let’s say that your goals are within this year. Break it down to each month. Like mine in my blogging journey.
What is going to do with this month?
How many posts do I have to publish each month?
How am I going to get engagement to my blog?
How many followers on Pinterest do I want to have this month?
What is the improvement I want to achieve?
These are some example questions that you need to ask yourself to achieve your goals. You can also break it down to weeks and days if you want. You can also write it like this;
In January my goal is to have a stable blog account with 5 starting a blog post
In February, I want to have a Pinterest and Instagram account.
In March, I want to be part of a Facebook group about blogging.
And so on
The main reason why people lose their motivation in something that they do is that they don’t see the result they don’t see the progress of what they are doing.
Even if they say that they are going to give their effort and time to it whatever happens, if they don’t see themselves getting near to their goal they lose the will to continue, especially if it is a long-term goal.
They have to have something that motivates them along the way. That is the reason for breaking down your goals if you see yourself achieving them, it gives you the impression that you are getting near your goal.

4. Believe that you can achieve it

If you believe you can achieve it. If you don’t believe that you can, how are you going to expect other people to believe in your dreams and believe in you?
Have you heard the saying that “ fake it till you make it” hold on to that?
If you are doing the things that bloggers do or influencers do and businessmen/women do. You will likely become one.
