UI/UX Design of AI Mobile App to translate Pet Mood

AI-powered facial recognition to interpret pet moods, primarily focusing on dogs. The app scans the dog’s face in real-time and translates its emotional state into friendly, shareable text for pet owners. This project aims to deepen the bond between pets and their owners by offering playful and empathetic communication.

Pet owners often struggle to understand their pets’ emotions. While dogs communicate through body language, subtle cues can be overlooked. This creates uncertainty and sometimes emotional distance in the pet-owner relationship.

The goal was to design an AI-powered mobile app that:

Accurately translates a dog’s mood into human-readable text.

Offers a joyful, friendly experience for pet owners.

Allows pet owners to easily share their pet’s “thoughts” with others.

Font: Outfit – chosen for its clean, modern, and approachable look that supports readability while adding a friendly personality.

Pet Scan: Owners point their phone’s camera at their dog’s face.

AI Detection: The app identifies mood through facial recognition.

Mood Translation: A message is displayed, e.g., “You look so beautiful today! I’m so thankful to have you as my owner.” if the dog is happy.

Share Option: Owners can share the translated mood as text or an image on social platforms.

Camera Screen: Simple interface with playful animation guiding owners to align the pet’s face.

Mood Result Card: A friendly card pops up with the pet’s “translated mood,” designed with rounded corners, vibrant colors, and expressive typography.

Share Button: Prominent, easily accessible button to encourage quick sharing.
