Outside! Mobile app design

This was a 2-week sprint project at Ironhack UX/UI bootcamp. The challenge was to re-imagine a way that people can adopt and maintain a daily routine that will improve their physical or mental health. In today's world, people spend up to 80% of their lives inside buildings, so I chose to focus on outdoor physical activity. I set out to design an app that improves people's well-being by helping them find and plan activities Outside!

Through research I found out that people want to do outdoor activities but don't do it as often because its hard to find people to do it with or its hard to plan. The Outside! app helps with both these things to get people outdoors so they can enjoy the many health benefits being outside brings.

The main goals in designing this App are to help users:

Find an outdoor activity in their area

Find people to do the outdoor activity with

Plan outdoor activities

Connect with others that are interested in outdoor activities

I used the user-centered design process to design this App.
