I transformed an outdated tracking system with a modern solution using Java and Python. This eliminated slow load times and missing important vehicle/order data. To handle high-volume updates from vehicle tracking, I migrated the data to a NoSQL database, MongoDB, improving read times from 30 seconds to under 50 milliseconds. The mobile and web apps were enhanced with React Native/React for improved reporting and user experience, introduced a scalable notification service built with Python/flask and Redis to send out real-time notifications to all our UI clients (web and mobile). The backend was improved using NodeJS and PostgreSQL, driving increased business growth and margin, and attracting new clients and contractors.
