CHALLENGE: Design for Manufacturing a Chassis

CHALLENGE: Design for Manufacturing a Chassis frame for a wheeled seed dispensing tool. The design should prioritize simplicity, cost, and ease of shipping and assembly, while still being durable for outdoor use on uneven field terrain and providing basic shock/vibration reduction in the wheel assemblies.

SOLUTION: Use Bolt-Together Framing to easily assemble and manufacture the frame. Use a rubber isolation sandwich mount as a suspension system. Used Off-The-Shelf components for assembly.

OUTCOME: Fasten the assembly chassis for low-cost manufacturing and DIY prototyping.
