I designed an automotive app concept that turns charging stops into opportunities.
Usually the central display is built around the driver, even though the driver is the one who shouldn’t be focusing on it while driving. 👀
With this concept, passengers can connect to the car’s navigation system and see what’s ahead in real time. When the vehicle plans a charging stop, the app highlights the area where the car will need to charge anyway and instantly suggests nearby places to eat, shop, rest, or take a short walk. ⚡️
The navigation stays fully synced with the car, so if the route changes, everyone’s app updates instantly. Passengers can even suggest new waypoints that appear directly on the driver’s display, turning passive travel time into a shared and intelligent experience. 🥳
