Sign In - Performance focused

I was given the challenge to rewrite the sign in flow in one of the companies I've worked for some years ago. It was a project with no tests and no documentation, and the company itself didn't have any testing culture. As I really believe in the good impact of automated testing, my goal was to bring this culture to the whole company, so I took this opportunity to do it. I had to convince my squad leader to let me use the project as a real example of how tests can improve the quality of the products and I was able to achieve very interesting results: 0% to 90% of testing coverage; 12 to 100 on Google Lighthouse; 13,2 to 0,8 on Speed Index & Largest Contentful Paint. I've ended up giving talks about automated tests and getting a promotion. These are very good achievements but what really makes me proud of this project is that it had a real impact on the whole company: they started writing tests in a lot of projects and seeing the value of it.
