Getting a home loan is complex and hard to navigate.. OneTwo is a new challenger lender here to reinvent the Australian home loan, putting customers in control of their money, rewarding them with automatic rate discounts and making sure they’re always on our best rate. With rising interest rates, inflation, and cost of living, our money needs to work harder. With an innovative product and features and a proactive, honest approach to money we’re helping our customers get more out of their home loan and create more opportunities in their lives.

As a designer on our team I led the direction of our marketing efforts including building the way we communicate our brand and our key features such as automatic rate reductions, bonus payments as you pay down your loan and the straightforward, transparent application process. My work included expanding the navigation of the website, building up our design system and evolving the way we communicate our brand message and key features. Some of the biggest improvements I was able to help make in my time was the way we simplified the way we communicated our product through product graphics and explainer videos, refined our brand messaging and content strategy and evolved our brand through evolved visuals and displaying more of a personal feel.

I was involved in leading key parts of the experience including release of a new product page, creating a story around our main product and developing new ways of explaining our features within engaging explainer videos as well as building up a calculator to illustrate how our features can save money as a tool for discerning home owners and our home loan specialists. Day to day I was involved with working closely alongside members of the delivery and marketing team as well as our engineers and other parts of the business including product and the home loan specialist team
