A B2B consultancy needed a repeatable way to fill its pipeline with qualified conversations — targeting mid-market home-services businesses. They had no clean data, no sending infrastructure, and no system to catch interested replies before they went cold.
What I built
1. ICP + targeting
Defined a tight ideal customer profile — mid-market home-services companies in a specific revenue band — and translated it into concrete sourcing criteria.
2. Multi-source lead sourcing
Pulled prospects from three sources: hiring-signal data (companies actively hiring were prioritized as in-market), plus discovery scraping to widen coverage. Buying signals were used to rank, not just collect.
3. Two-persona enrichment in Clay
Built enrichment for two distinct buyer personas per account, running email and phone waterfalls across multiple providers and layering in custom qualifying data points.
4. Segmentation
Scored and split the list into tiers (A / B / C) so the highest-fit accounts got the sharpest messaging, with a separate review bucket for edge cases.
5. Cold email + infrastructure
Set up deliverability-first sending infrastructure and loaded segmented sequences into SmartLead.
6. Live reply routing
Built an n8n pipeline that catches positive replies and routes them straight into the team's internal chat in real time — so no interested prospect sits unanswered.
The result
A running outbound engine producing 760+ SmartLead-ready, enriched, tiered leads across two personas — with the whole path from raw sourcing to "interested reply in the team's inbox" automated and documented for handoff.
